Western Auto Bronze Tonka Toy Pick Up Truck 11062 RARE Vintage 1970's Made in USA This listing is for a Pressed Steel Bronze Tonka 1970's Dodge Toy Pickup Truck (Model 11062).  This toy, currently still owned by a Western Auto Dealer's son, was gently played with outdoors in the sand (and having been exposed to rain a few times has rust, mostly in the truck bed, as pointed out in the photos).  Aside from that, the toy has spent the past several decades in dry storage in a Rubbermaid bin.

Tonka model 11062

All Metal Contruction (except for plastic tires, seats, and windows).

Tires are in solid condition and are in good working order (roll smooth, not loose).

Tailgate opens and closes.

Rust in the truck bed, on top of roof, on top of hood.  Some paint bubbles, flaking, and paint scratches.

Windshield (and other windows) are complete and in Good Condition (no cracks or deep scratches, etc.).

Paint has some scratches (see photos).

Undercarriage is in excellent condition.

The advertised color is bronze.

Original owner (relatives owned a Western Auto store).  

This rare, collectible toy was purchased during a Western Auto dealer seasonal merchandise show in the 1970's.
