VTG MADE IN U.S.A. Tootsie Toy HO 1939 PLYMOUTH Five Window Coupe

From a recently acquired collection, This HO scale (1/64) Tootsie Toy (TT) diecast has become quite a surprise in internet surfing research. Most Pricetronic listings show this as a Chevy. But the 1939 Chevy looks nothing like this cast design of TT. The "square" headlights created a G search to find a 1939 PLYMOUTH as their concept mold. Research of TT history listed a 1938-39 Graham as a featured car too, but the "beak" style hood over the grille is not in this little car. As far as a description, going with a '39 Plymouth 5 window coupe. The green paint is in excellent condition. All though the real car did not have front and rear "fender skirts", TT history also created a one metal axle with two rubber tire design and the body on this one, so prehistoric in die cast, has the "skirts" to hold the axle. The above average paint makes this car. And again, look up a real '39 Plymouth. From a nonsmoker home so no surprise odors upon package arrival. Pics taken close up, therefore, NO RETURNS!!!
