Vintage Tin Toy United Mainliner Stratocruiser Passenger Airplane. Made in Japan (Linemar). Nice condition. Please see the photos. About 11 inches long. Wingspan about 12-1/2 inches. Some areas of general wear and a little bit of rust. Friction wheels work and turn the propellers. One of the propellers is missing. The rear landing gear is missing. Displays nicely.
This will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a box to a U.S. address only.
I taught engineering classes for about ten years and had a nice collection of tin toy vehicles in my office. The students loved them. Now I'm retired and I don't have room to display them. I've had a lot of fun the last few years selling my childhood comic book collection and some vintage toys to buy several new and used acoustic guitars.
