Vintage Strombecker #5250 Navy Battleship Army Battlewagon B - Marx,

Here for sale is one Vintage  Strombecker #5250 Navy Battleship . This armored ship is clean and in excellent condition.  As shown in the photos, this vehicle is about 18 inches long.  This ship will roll on the ground as b oth axles are intact and also turn as they should.  This toy ship can also be used in the bathtub or pool, but it does draw water and is prone to flipping upside down. All four of the main turrets are attached and turn as they should.  The two secondary turrets are also attached and turn as they should.  The "212" decals are present and in good condition on both sides of the hull of the ship. This ship was typically marketed as being the USS New Jersey, which was an Iowa Class Battleship, but the four triple-gun turrets on this ship made it more like the Pennsylvania Class Battleships, which included the USS Pennsylvania and the USS Arizona. This battlewagon needs a new home.  Perhaps this classic ship would look good in your own collection or diorama.  Both adults and kids typically like these ships.  Our own son had one of these over 35 years ago, and we still have the original downstairs somewhere in our basement. All items come from a smoke-free environment.

I will use Ground Advantage Mail for this sale to help keep costs down.  I use new or occasionally gently-used sturdy boxes that typically have a 200-pounds-per-square-inch bursting test rating.  I ship only to the 50 American States, the District of Columbia, and Canada.
Whenever possible, I will gladly combine shipping costs.  I do this by approximately splitting the savings for shipping on the second and subsequent items and then issuing a refund within about two days after a package is shipped.  Please note, however, when a package weighs just over 16 ounces that the shipping cost can be about double of the cost of sending a 15-ounce package.  Local pickup in the Spokane area is also available at no charge. For our cousins up North, shipping charges for items delivered in Canada will be substantially more than those listed for delivery to U.S. destinations and start at approximately $18.00 (USD) for small items weighing less than 16 ounces.
