Vintage Cass Toys

This is a vintage Cass Toys doll trunk with a green/white diagonal-striped paper covering a wooden base, fashioned into a steamer travel trunk with exterior travel-themed stickers.  Interior is red and white checked paper. Label inside reads Cass Toys
New York .   Made circa the 1950s in the United States, it is of sturdy construction with charming details. Drawer, hanging rod, vertical compartment ribbon tie are present. Approximate dimensions:  12.5” high, 6.75” wide, 6.75” deep. Condition: Very good vintage used condition overall, commensurate with age, use and storage.  Drawer foundation is not affixed to the case. Interior has a 1” tear to the paper under the drawer compartment (not visible when drawer and compartment are in place). External has some paper fraying at edge and one 1” paper peeled spot.
