ALPs Vintage 14" Tin Lithograph Battery Operated Army Helicopter With

I bought this from a antique dealer many years ago.  I am not sure how old it is, but it is definitely vintage.  It was new(I think) in a box (new old stock) when I bought it.   But through the years I destroyed the box from moving it around and broke off one blade.  I don't know what I did with that piece, but it is lost now.  The blades are adjustable, so you can maneuver them to whatever position you want to put them in.  You can also see that in the picture of the battery compartment, it looks as if it has never been used.  Even without the one blade, this piece is very collectible and could be made whole by finding another blade online or from another similar helicopter.  There is also a pilot in the cockpit.  I am not sure if it opens up, if it does I haven't figured out how.  The trademark is ALPS.  It was made in Japan and has a lithograph design, so I am guessing it is from the 1950's give or take 10 years.  I saw another ALPs Helicopter that seemed to be the same model on ebay selling for around the same, without blades and other issues.  They said it was from the 1960's.  That date might be more accurate, I really don't know.  This is a fair price and it would be a nice add to any collection.  Very Cool and Rare!  I haven't put batteries in it, but if you are interested in buying it, I can test it if you like.  I can't imagine that it would not work considering the nice condition that it is in.  There are some small scratches here and there and a small area next to the tail that has some light rust, so zoom in on it and check it all out.  I am sure it could be removed, but I don't clean any of my vintage items.  I will let whomever decides to buy it do that if they want.  Many collector's prefer it that way.
