Vintage 1950's-1960's Hubley Colt 45 Toy Cap Gun. Outstanding Original Condition. With Marshal badge.  Stored in custom hard case with velvet and foam liner. I am selling my beloved collection of 1950's-1960's Western toy cap guns. My collection is a little over 100 individual pistols and pistol sets some with their orignal leather holsters. My dad got me started on this- when I was a child he was an Industrial designer for IRWIN, Mattel, Hasbro and other New England Toy companies in the 1950's and early 1960's. I inherited his collection as a starting point. This collection was carefully stored and curated. Most examples are in excellent condition with no firing/no wear to light firing and/light wear. I have a few holy grail prototypes including the infamous "ghost gun". They will all be listed over the next few days. Up for sale is a wonderful vintage 1959-1965 Hubley 'Colt 45' beautifully engraved nickel die-cast cap gun with intact gold revolving cylinder & original (6) bullets and white faux-ivory plastic grips. Excellent visual condition with little wear that is unusual for this item category. "Excellent" does not imply it is as-new or mint/pristine- I will describe any minor marks, major flaws and wear areas that I find. Even brand new items age-out a bit sitting in their original boxes for 60+ years. That said, this item is in excellent visual condition . White faux grips. The trigger has a good solid snap. Cylinder does not presently turn but the cylinders can be tweaked to work as they easily fall out of alignment. Only very light wear on the cylinder barrel. The bullet casings show minor hammer wear. I see no evidence of cap burn on the hammer. A few wear specs on the metal but overall excellent. No cracks with light wear marks on the faux-ivory plastic grips. All 6 casings and tips. In excellent visual condition.  Custom hard storage case with faux leather and velvet and foam liner. The faux leather case has some scuff marks to the finish. Has a metal Marshal badge. This item was never cleaned or polished. Notes: If you have any questions, please ask before bidding/buying . Sorry, I am not selling these to international/overseas buyers- these listings are for domestic US sale only. My concern is that some of these toy guns were fired 65 years ago with toy caps and there might be residual powder traces in the cases and I do not want to lose a valuable and rare toy to an overly-sensitive customs screen that might pick up a miniscule trace residue.  This is a vintage toy cap gun and it as I describe, including the visual condition, but is being sold AS-IS with no returns unless the functions I described as working, do not work when it arrives, or the visual condition varies significantly from my description. Shipping: This will be shipped in the custom case with velvet and foam liner that you see in the photos. I will wrap the case in bubble wrap and either put it in a shipping box or cover the bubble wrap with heavy brown paper in lieu of a box. Thank you.
