Tom Thumb Vintage Toy Cash Register, Green.  This cash register is made by the Western Stamping Company of Jackson, Michigan.  The cash register is complete and is in excellent physical condition.  The original green crackle finish is very clean and there is no rust.  All of the buttons are intact and the numbers on the buttons are very readable.  The Tom Thumb decal on the cash drawer is complete and is very clean.  The plastic window on the top of the cash register is completely intact, but has one visible scratch.   The cash register was tested.  When the buttons are pressed part way, the corresponding numbers pop up at the top.  When any of the buttons are pushed all the way down, the cash drawer opens and the bell rings.  The operation of the numbers on the top is not consistent and sometimes the numbers only come up part way, but the cash drawer always opens correctly when the buttons are pushed the whole way down.  The cash register is about 7-inches tall by 7-inches deep.
