Galoob
produced this wired remote control (RC) dropship based on the original movie
“Starship Troopers”. It is new in
opened box (NIOB). This vehicle is an
excellent representation of the dropship used in the movie. The
ship was purchased new almost a quarter of a century ago, tested and then
stored in a low/no light and dry environment. Before listing, it was again tested and is 100% functional. It is also 100% complete, including all
packing materials, instructions, missiles and unapplied decals still on their
sheet. The ship
is an electronic ship that operates by vibration. Not the best method for moving the ship but
it is functional on a hard surface. It
will not work on carpet. The missile
firing action is more impressive. When
the button is pushed and held down, it will fire the four missiles consecutively.
If the button is pushed and released quickly it will fire the missiles separately. If
you’re quick enough. The ship
has only a few minutes of operating time. That was required to test and video its operation. You will
need to supply two C-cells for the ship to operate. Please use new batteries. The ship may not function with old or
depleted batteries. Batteries were never
stored in the ship. The battery
compartment is pristine clean. See picture. There is
wear on the box. I don’t think it is
significant but judge that for yourself using the supplied pictures. None of the wear has impacted the toy. Please read the details below. They should answer any questions you might
have. Details: My Seller Guarantee: Have you ever wondered how sellers can claim that their
factory sealed items are mint in the box (MIB). Do they have X-ray vision? Are
they clairvoyant? Do they have millions
of dollars of scientific equipment that allows them to know that their sealed
item is “perfect” or “mint” without actually opening their packaging? I wish this equipment was available to me but
it isn’t so I don’t make claims on sealed or untested items. It happens very infrequently but factory
sealed items may be incomplete or broken. I don’t accept returns but I do guarantee my items. This is how the guarantee works. If the buyer is concerned that the factory
sealed item may not be complete or not working in some way, I will be happy to
open the item and check it for completeness and function. If anything is wrong with the item the winner
is under no obligation to complete the auction. The winner should request testing before paying for item(s). All testing is done according to the auction winner’s
direction. I offer this service to
protect both the auction winner and myself. I do not wish to waste the winner’s or my time and money on something
with which the auction winner will not be completely satisfied. Buy it Now listings: Buyers can request testing for factory sealed listings that require
immediate payment. The buyer should request testing after payment and before
shipping. If listed item(s) does not
perform/work as indicated on the box I will contact the buyer concerning its
condition. If buyer does not want to
purchase the item I will refund the complete price paid including shipping. Buyer must request testing immediately after
payment. Buyer can request testing on
the PayPal/eBay payment page. People have asked me
why I don’t classify my auction items as mint as most people would. Mint is for coin and comic collectors. There is no such a thing as a “mint” toy or
“minty mint” or “dead mint” or its many variations. You can always look at any toy and find some
sort of an imperfection however minor they might be. Use my high definition pictures to decide for
yourself the grade of the items. If I
see anything wrong with the item I will point that out in the items
description. I specialize in selling new in box toys
produced a decade to a half century ago. Item(s) come from a smoke free environment. Item(s) are stored in a dry low light/no
light environment. Item(s) are shipped after verified confirmed
payment. Item(s) are only shipped to PayPal confirmed
address. Make sure your confirmed
address is up to date. Payment for item(s) is expected within three
days. Unless otherwise stated in the item(s)
description any pictures are of the actual item(s) you are bidding on. They are not stock pictures. Occasionally I will use a stock picture if it
better represents the item(s) such as when the packaging is factory
sealed. If so I will point that out in
the item(s) description. If you see another seller’s listing using
duplicate pictures of ones in my listing, those pictures are being used without
my permission. As stated above, I only
use pictures taken by me of the actual item I am selling. I try to use the shipping method that
provides the least shipping cost in the listing. This is usually USPS Retail Ground. However, in some instances based on size and
weight of package and shipping destination, other shippers or shipping methods
may be used. The final shipper/method
will be my choice. The maximum shipping
amount to be paid by the buyer is shown in the listing. Shipping costs include insurance and tracking. In almost all instances my shipping costs
are greater than what I charge for shipping. Combined Shipping: I do combine shipping on any auctions won
within a three day period. If an item is
very small it can be shipped for free with a larger item. Two medium size packages may or may not be
shipped more cheaply together. There are
too many permutations to consider. If you want an estimate of combined shipping costs for multiple auctions
please email me at least two days before auction’s end and before bidding. If you do win multiple auctions please ignore
eBay’s invoice and wait for a combined invoice from me which could reduce your
shipping cost. I will supply you with a
combined invoice within 24 hours of your final auction. Please let me know if you intend to bid on
multiple auctions. If you have
questions or concerns about an item/auction please ask them before
bidding. I try to write very detailed
descriptions of items but please don’t make assumptions that are not included
in auction listing or try to make changes in auction details after auction’s
completion. I try to answer
all emails but please give me a minimum of six hours before auction’s end to
respond. Last minute questions will
probably not be answered. In most instances item(s) listed were
purchased new. They were checked for
completeness, condition and proper operation. If there is anything wrong I will so state that in the product
description. Item(s) with batteries: In most instances batteries were removed when
item(s) was new and after item(s) testing. I do this because batteries left in item(s) can degrade and destroy a
battery compartment. Occasionally,
because of packaging complexity, the batteries are left in. I will so state this in the description. Item(s) are tested before putting up for
auction except for factory sealed item(s) (FSI). I take multiple
detailed pictures of the item(s). Only a
few are used in the products description. I will reference these if a question arises on the condition of the
item(s) as sent and received. Item(s) are securely and safely packaged. Although rare, if item(s) is damaged or lost
in shipment I will supply auction winner with any information needed to apply
to carrier to obtain refund. All of my
items are insured with the carrier. I
take detailed pictures of the pre-shipment package(s). These can be used to determine any damage
caused by the carrier during shipment. If you are not satisfied with your purchase
please contact me. Once you receive your item(s) and are happy
with your purchase please let me know by leaving positive feedback. I will leave the buyer positive feedback once
I know that the buyer has received item(s) and is happy with their purchase.
