He-Man Masters of the Universe Iron Cross Variant by Mattel. Vintage Action Figure. This figure is what's known as the rare "Iron Cross Variant" because of the horizontal and vertically intersected "anchor cross" on his chest plate. This was the original design according to many. However, due to possible negative associations the red colored "Iron Cross" was replaced, making these a variant. The majority of the He-Man figures have instead an intersecting "X" type design which looks more like an asterisk.  For some reason every other person on eBay with a non-variant has this backwards so research it yourself.  Artist Roger Sweet I’ve had my figures boxed within boxes, indoor sand untouched since the early 2000s. There is however, normal, minor scratches on the exterior package from typical storage and being packed within a box or touched at a store.
