Ertl 52040 Vintage Metal Semi Tractor Trailer Set Ertl Toy Company

this is a used,preowned ertl tractor trailer metal toy truck.there is wear on this toy.i will just try to sum it up for you.there are dents, scratches,scuffs,scrapes,rusting taking place and dings throughout the two pieces of the toy.there is a deep scratch on the drivers side cab and window.there is a deep ding and scratch on the drivers side windshield.the horn assembly if you will is missing off the top of the cab.there is still a piece of the plastic stuck in the top of the cab.there is also an adhesive stain or residue on top of the cab as well.the back set of duals on the tractor do not roll true,possible axle bent but not horrible,some what on the front set as well.there is stress or discoloration on the exhaust and fuel tanks.the trailer has two dents or dings in the top,one is deep,some what fresh showing some bare metal.the support for the bottom of the trailer doesnt set flush against the bottom.there is sticker residue on both the bottom of the trailer as well as inside the doors.the stickers on the outside of the trailer have scrathes and scuffs.where the tractor hooks up to the trailer there plenty of scuffing,scrapes and rust.same with the hook up area on the tractor.they both have a pinkish hue as well.the doors on the back of the trailer do not close flush,they tend to lean in a little and both are somewhat floppy for the lack of a better term.they are also very slightly bent in or tweaked for the lack of a better term.the axles on the trailer are kinda the same as on the tractor,but not terrible.in short,a used,well played with toy.not all that bad considering the age and amount of play.to list every little defect i would run out of room.please look at the pictures carefully.thank you for looking at this listing.
