Dark Horse Deluxe Tim Burton’s Tragic Toys , Set #1 Desc: Three vinyl (PVC), fully painted characters from the wonderful and wicked black humor of Tim Burton. Characters based on his book of poetry, “the Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories,” he wrote to explain to people (mostly children) the realities of life; that things don’t always go your way. And that it is often difficult, if not impossible, to find love and a sense of belonging. Comes in cardboard window box, molded plastic holds each toy in place. Origin: Made in China. ©2003 Tim Burton, Inc. UPC: 761568125276. Approx. dimensions: box is: 9 ½” x 5 ¼” s 2 ¼” and weighs 9.5 oz. with toys included. The tallest character is 4” high. Condition/care: The toys are in perfect condition, the box in in very good condition with only the normal imperfections one would get from 20 years of storage: some corners are a little bit curled, color has worn off, little marks and creases about. The plastic window has a small crease in the upper left corner, otherwise it is in excellent condition. There is a small split in the plastic housing on the lower right side. Please look at the pictures. This comes from a climate-controlled, smoke- and pet-free environment.
