Antique Original 1922 NIFTY TOYS Toonerville Trolley Tin Litho Wind-Up Toy  Good overall condition! All original, no repairs or repaint. Please refer to images for best indication of condition. Wind-Up function is in good working order. Details: The lithographed tin wind-up Toonerville Trolley was first produced in Germany in 1922, by the H. Fischer Co. of Nuremberg. Pictured above is an example of this toy and is considered the "classic" original which includes the mechanism which allows the toy to shake, rattle, and roll, and also has Skipper holding the tiller in his hands, which turns when the toy is wound. (The later versions did not include this feature). Book reference: Encyclopedia Toonervillia Vol. III (page 3) Measures: 7.25" tall x 5.25” long ALL antique & cast iron toys are bubble-air wrapped, double-boxed , and suspended in foam for safe shipping.
