1922 Toonerville Trolley Tin Wind-Up Toy w/Key, Fontaine Fox,

Nice original antique circa 1922 Toonerville Trolley. This original wind-up toy was made in Germany for George Borgfeldt & Company of New York City circa 1922. This lithographed tin trolley was inspired by the "Toonerville Folks" comic strip of cartoonist Fontaine Fox. Working condition with great graphics, has some wear typical of age and from play.  Missing the little metal smoke stack on roof and one small dent seen in last picture.  Measures 5" long x 3" deep x 7" tall.  Please see photos for additional details.
